Coronavirus (COVID-19) FAQs
Here are some FAQs relating to Coronavirus (COVID-19). Last updated on 20 August 2020.
What are the venues doing to address the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation?
Margate Winter Gardens, Theatre Royal Margate and Dover Town Hall are following ongoing guidance from Public Health England and remain closed at this time until 2021. For other venues, please check their individual websites. Further information on how to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 can be found on the NHS website.
Are the venues open and events taking place?
Currently, Margate Winter Gardens, Theatre Royal Margate and Dover Town Hall are closed to the public. All performances during this period have been rescheduled and in rare cases cancelled. All ticket holders will receive direct emails and calls from the box office regarding the new dates.
What happens if a show has been rescheduled?
If you have a ticket for a show that has been rescheduled, hang on to your ticket – it will be valid for the new date. If you cannot make the new date you will be able to claim a credit onto your customer account. This credit can be used to purchase tickets in the future and has no expiry date.
How do I stay up-to-date?
Any changes to a performance will be made via the specific venue’s Facebook page and major changes – such as cancellations, postponements etc. – will be communicated directly with customers via email and/or phone.
